Bolted on exactly where the old one was. The seat is more heavy duty like a house one. Mine was missing the bolts , but the old ones worked fine. A little pricey for a toilet seat. Tried going to the dometic customer website But it said it didn't exist to get some new bolts

First seat was chipped, returned and replacement item was shipped promptly and fits great. These are heavy, home style seats. Not thin, cheap plastic. Expensive but worth the $ for an “at home” experience.

First of all I never read 5 star reviews so I only write 4 star reviews:). Before I ordered this seat I measured the old seat and I couldn't find one that matched exactly. I ordered this seat thinking I would just have to make due. The product measurements include the hinges, DUH! It fit perfectly. Very easy to install. Sturdier than the original. This is a 5 star product.
