The unit was acquired specifically to use for oil & dye injection using an existing oil dye kit fitted only with an R134-A low side fitting. This enabled us to forgo the need to acquire a new dye injector specific to R1234-YF to work on our various Ford applications in our shop. There were no issues with leaks or the fitting failing to secure properly.... you would never want something like this to pop-off unexpectedly while in use on an a pressurized A/C system. In most application this item did the trick, but in a few application it was a bit bulkier or taller that we would have liked, which impeded our ability to make use of it only twice and this was alleviated by using a dedicated right angle version of this product; which are also common. So the tool may not be 100% effective in every application; but where it did fit it worked well. So I give 5 stars as there is no negative in the design of the tool, only that certain users may not find it suitable in certain applications through no fault of the product.

Car Air Conditioner Fitting to help with vehicle AC work that stays connected after installing and did not fail during testing when working on the vehicles AC system.You must do your own research before using this to work on vehicles low side port however in my case it served its purpose and there was no leaks while work was performed using the adapter. Does not hold any pressure from a can, leaks like it's wide open when disconnected. You can blow air clean through from both directions. Faulty and cost me a $14 can of refrigerant.
