Make sure your vacuum pump supports a 1/2 fitting. It only comes with a 1/4" adapter for one side. It does marginally improve vacuum performance however. One good thing, it doesn't have deep vacuum bounce back, caused by gas diffusion through the hose. So good quality hose material. It's easy to pull a deep vacuum on this, and the hose holds it. Most cheap Chinese hoses cannot be pulled down below 300 - 500 microns.
