I needed a 9mm hex for front brakes on a 2008 ford escape. The included key fit as needed. It is a bit long and required the brake hose to be moved a bit to get key into the slide pin. If it was an inch or so shorter there wouldn't be any issues, but I'm not concerned with that. It worked as it should. The case seems solid, has metal clips and I believe the hinge had a pin. These are definitely as plus with blow molded cases. The fit and finish were good also
