The items were used to replace the trunk lift struts on a 2005 Ford 500 that became to weak to lift the trunk lid out of the latch when using the remote opening control. No problem now since the trunk pops open because of the new struts having the required pressure .rbm

I had returned trunk struts from another vendor because they were too short. Same with these.This time I removed the end pieces on each of the struts and sanded them down as much as I could, enough for the struts to snap on to their respective mounts.Otherwise, they work fine.

These are a perfect fit replacement for my 2007 Ford Five Hundred trunk lid arms tha were no longer holding up the weight of the trunk. Quick and easy to replace and now works like new. Highly recommended.
