The struts fit my Buick Encore fine. Easy to remove old and install new. One of the struts seems to have a lot of play where the strut meets the tube assembly. I can actually wiggle it about 1/4 inch from side to side. It seems to work fine otherwise. The other one is fine and is solid like the original.

I needed to replace the liftgate struts on my 8 year old car as they were no longer working. I was surprised at how easy it was to remove the old and replace with my new A-Premium rear tailgate liftgate struts.To remove the old struts simply take a small screwdriver, or whatever tool that might work, and lift or remove the metal retaining clip on each end of the old strut and then pull the strut off the vehicle. But first you may want to take a broom handle to hold the hatch open because the hatch will not stay open on its own when you remove the old struts. To install the new strut just place the end of the strut over the ball and push it on. You will feel it lock in place but pull on it slightly to ensure it actually is installed securely. If the strut does not push on easily you may need to put a little lubricant on the end.These struts work as advertised, are competitively and I would definitely recommend them.
