Bought these to replace the old ones on my '09 Pontiac Vibe that had given out. They work great! Very easy to install; took less than 10 minutes total. Locking tabs are a little tricky, but as long as you have a small screwdriver to pry them open, it's all good. They swing open my hatchback easily now. I just installed them so I can't comment on longevity, but they look sturdy and function perfectly for now. Price was very affordable.

When it got really cold, our hatchback back would not longer stay open or even close on you. Seems to happen after some years. I got these two replacements and they work really well. No more hatch not opening or closing on your head when its cold. Happy with my purchase.

Looked a a few YouTube video's for installation and everything went great. Yes they work fantastic, just lift the hatch a bit and up it goes on it's own. So nice to have the hatch working again.This was for my 2009 Pontiac Vibe and they fit perfectly for this car.

Appears to be exactly what I was hoping for to fix a problem with my 2009 Pontiac Vibe. I was constantly being hit in the head when the tailgate dropped while I was under it - after enough head hits I found this solution. Was satisfied with price and quality.
