Great replacement. Be careful you don’t knock your teeth out or damage the hatch back door when these suckers load up and lift the door open. I’m not kidding about your teeth if your standing too close. I’m sure they will relax a bit in strength after a little use but super reactive after opening from about 10 inches open to fully open. It caught me off guard, the speed that the heavy back door went up. Perhaps be mindful of others standing close by too.Update: rear door lifts installed about 4 months and they are functioning like brand new and not quite as aggressive as they are when first installed, but still pretty powerful.I just ordered a set today for our Honda CRV as this first set gets 5stars for:perfect fit, packaged well, delivered on time, very good value and installs and operates as well as factory OEM parts.

Product arrive quickly. It's a perfect fit for my Kia Soul. Installation is so easy just pry the tension clip in the back out slightly and pull and it come right out. No need to pry the clip out all the way it maybe difficult to put it back in. It took me about 2 minutes to install it.The only thing is this lift is very powerful so when you open the tail gate it's lift up very fast and may hit you on the chin. So what I did is replaced one side only and leave the other old lift on the other side that way the tail gate lift up smoothly and not super fast.A bonus is you now have an extra lift to be used later to replace the old lift on the other side when needed.It's a good quality product as far as I can tell and saved me more than $100 versus ordering from the dealership.
