We bought this to replace a canvas cover for our 8'x10' gazebo after our 2nd canvas covering had disintegrated. Decided to try this product, even though its not waterproof, based on reviews of its strength - I can confirm it's made out of what feels like recycled plastic. Feels extremely heavy duty and i really liked the reinforced rings on the corners. Of course, only time will tell if it lasts but I think it will last longer than the canvas covering it's replacing.

Took some prep to be able to install properly. Make sure you have what you need to get it stretched tight.Once it's done it looks great and the wind won't blow your table away like patio umbrellas do. Keeps most rain off though this is not a tarp it will drip through. Not a problem that's not what I got it for.

After several years of full time outdoor exposure the Coolaroo fabric we were using developed a small rip and was looking a bit dirty. Amz was out of the Coolaroo so I decided to try two sails in place of the 32 foot cover for our south facing deck.No obvious defects in these sails and installation was easy. However my wife noticed what appeared to be random holes. They were spots where the material wasn't uniformly spaced. You can see the "holes" but I don't call them a serious defect. Of course we won't know for hopefully several years if the material and sewing are durable.
