This valve fits well on most units. More expensive valves are sometimes too big to work with. I put this on the liquid line while I'm pulling a vacuum through the suction line. Deep vacuum with no problem. The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is that when you're done using the valve and you backseat it mine has a tiny leak through the stem. It really doesn't matter though, just don't unscrew the knob all the way then you're good

I put a cap over the male end and a plug in the female end to keep dirt debris etc... out.I also used a little lube on the surface of the mating end. No replacement for seal so if it gets debris on it or you screw it on too tight they will develop leaks.

I wish I could give these vales 10 stars. With thes values you can easily purge your hoses without risking skin burn from freon. Thes valves were added to the end of hoses that did not have valves at the end.Very easy to operate and gives you confidence to use your hoses properly with out skin bburn and without freon loss.These valves provided the solution I was looking for.

This control valve has a better design than my other control valves. The knob is bigger thereby giving more torque. The quick connector is longer and has a conical shape giving more access for tightening. Pruduct is well built.
