2. Compatible with 12 AWG to 18 AWG speaker wires.

3. Each pair comes with one plug color-coded red and the other coded black, for easy polarity identification.

4. Banana plugs make speaker installation a breeze. They are designed for use with amplifiers or speakers that use traditional binding posts. Not only is it easier to make the connection on the back of your amp, but it is also safer, with no chance of stray wire strands creating a short across contacts. These high-quality plugs are the closed screw type and can accept bare wire or spades.

FAST AND EASY INSTALLATION

1. Just need a flathead screwdriver to complete the installation. The solder-free design makes it faster to install it on the ends of a speaker wire than those frayed end speaker wires that can be attached to the back of an amp and speakers.

2. The screw-type banana plug also makes it easy to move or upgrade speakers/receivers/amps without much hassle

3. Unique dual screw lock design will secure your cable more than a single screw, or open screw design. Dual screw connectivity provides a secure connection, durability, and a clear signal.

SOLID CONNECTION

Please note: To ensure a secure connection, the straight banana plug will be a little bigger than the jack, requiring some force to insert it into the speaker or amp connector the first time. The plug is elastic, so don’t worry it will cause damage to your device.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Intimate reminder: When screwing the screws, it is recommended not to unscrew the screws completely, so as to avoid the small screws being easily lost, as long as the screws are screwed until the wires can be plugged into the banana plug.

I really like these plugs, based on the quality I observed when I assembled them using 14 guage OFC speaker wire. They're good looking and heavy, they have secure clamping screws top and bottom, and their red / black markings are consistent with the red/black cable I used, and the red/black posts on my receiver and speakers - great for avoiding cross-wiring.But, they have two issues - First, the screw-down shells do not grip securely. Just handling them a bit after installation causes the threaded shells to un-screw. That can certainly be remedied with a few drops of blue thread-lok, or some small o-rings. The other issue is the ribs on the plugs. They are designed with a severe convex bend that makes them too large to insert into receiver and speaker terminals. If you buy these, you're gonna have to wrap those ribs in a protective cloth and flatten them a bit with pliers. Otherwise you risk damaging the posts trying to force them in.Yeah, I'd buy them again, but their design most certainly could be improved.

Updated review : as seen on second and third picture, the banana plugs broke after two weeks. Just used it to plug 3 times speakers when testing sound. I will try to contact seller to find a solution. I was able to repair it myself but then I know the pin will eventually stay stuck in the speaker againFirst review : At first I thought there was a mistake, I couldn't plug them in (too big?)But then I realized I just had to squeeze them a bit, then they got in the perfect size and would fit in my speakers and reciever.I need more of them, so I'll buy again !

As an audio nut for more than 4 decades, I have to agree with many of the other reviewer conclusions - banana plugs do not impact the sound quality of your system if the make a good connection, but they can prevent an accidental short when they are well designed like these plugs! Most quality banana plugs are an all metal design and these plugs are no exception. And cheap plugs use a plastic shield that will age and crack over time. THIS vendor adopted a different approach, they built an all metal plug, but leveraged a non conductive coating on the aluminum shield to help prevent accidental shorting of the conductors if the audio enthusiast accidentally leaves the amp on while swapping cables or making other changes. We have all done it, and if it has cost you an amp you will never forget it. This vendor is out in front of that with an insightful design. The build, wire grip, look and feel, and tight connection to the wire and amp all add up to a great plug at a very attractive price for SIX pairs! I would expect these plugs to cost more, and I am glad they are not because I have quite a few pairs I want to replace this these in the coming weeks

I grabbed these for the Left/Center/Right channels for my surround setup, and we're pretty happy with them. They look nice in use. I do question if the outer shell is coating is sufficient for stopping any conductivity, however, but did not test this as I didn't have a valid method to do so at hand. Using them is fairly straight forward, just unscrew the inside from the shell, then there are two screws inside to hold the wire in place. I highly advise you not to fully unscrew these, as they are quite small and easy to lose. It takes like a minute, maybe two, per wire set.As for sound quality, I'm going to give you the honest truth, no banana plug on earth is going to actually have a bearing on your sound quality. You may convince yourself that they did, but truth be told, it won't. It's been tested time and time again, and people couldn't even tell the difference between ultra high end cables and coat hangers. That isn't a bad thing here, I'm just making sure people don't expect these to change their sound quality, as it just won't.Overall, I am happy to recommend these if you need banana plugs. They work well and are easy to use.

Not sure what else to say about the Ytuomzi Banana Plugs other than it works great. It's easy to use. I like the fact that it's an all metal design so it should last for a long time. The locking screws on the inside gives added security. I've used banana plugs that you just twist on without locking screws and they worked fine, but I just feel more secure with the inner locking screws. Most importantly, doesn't affect the sound at all. Sounds the same with or without the banana plugs. Easy to use, affordable, sounds great, nothing more to say.
