Very poor quality for £22,missed return window as it was a gift to a keen gardener, finish on metal looks amateurish cheap lightweight handle, metal point more of a spike than shaped for digging .Would not recommend.

Got two of them over a year ago. My mother's old one had a broken off wooden handle and she had it for years. Mother's Day was coming around at the time, so I bought 2 of these. She has used them forever and a half, so I replaced them with some new ones. No problems with them at all. The handles are comfortable and the blades have not broke. She has a very large garden and this is her go-to-tool for just about everything.Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

This tool is awesome for digging or making holes in the ground. Simply amazing how well it works. Make sure to clean and oil the head/tip after use or it will rust. The design and weight is just right in your hand. You won't regret adding this gem to your garden tools.

Came with thick tight bubble wrap, and the instrument is really good for digging a hole !Needs less power to dig a hole, and yet he handle is comfort while I’m working.

This piece screams authenticity! Every bit of its shape and curves follow function. Just as how I remember it from Korea. The best tool for farming/gardening or digging butter clams from a rocky beach! The maker's stamp indicate it is made by a master smith.Note to others:This is a traditional farming tool intended to work the field in sit/squat/knee position and may not meet the ergonomics or space requirement for those that use this for gardening. It is not a weed blade where it is pressed into the soil. You're supposed to use in a hammering motion to dig grounds and raking/pivoting motion to sort/dig out rocks. Although it is feathered on one of the edges, it is not designed to have a "knifed edge" as some people want. I just thought I'd throw this out there for those that are not familiar with this tool.

This Ho-mi works great for all gardening tasks. It is easy and comfortable to use for long hours. My wife bought this but I enjoy this more than her. I wanted to buy another one, but I had to wait since this was hand made and out of stock. I didn't want to try a Chinese imitation. I even watched a documentary about this Korean blacksmith and the history behind how he made this tool so well. There is a lot of detail that went into developing the quality of this tool even down to the exact degree in its angles and tapering of the shaft. A great person made a great tool. I highly recommend!!! Make sure the handle has the blacksmith's stamp to ensure authenticity (as shown in the pics).
