Since the fins that mesh with the GoPro are aluminum instead of a more flexible plastic, they don't hold the GoPro in place very well. You can tighten it a ton and have it hold, but I would not recommend this one

This GoPro mount is just what I needed! Most of the other GoPro mounts I have used did not elevate the camera at all, but this one does. My hand always used to get in the way of the shot, but with this GoPro mount, the camera is up and away from the rail, meaning I can grip my rifle normally without obstructing the camera! The build and design are very solid. The GoPro mount can be rotated to the top, left, right, or bottom, allowing you to really fine-tune the shot you get, making using different rifles no problem at all as the camera position can be adjusted to work best with each.I purchased the Keymod mount variation, and the direct keymod section has eliminated the need to purchase a rail and mount separate. This all in one package provides the rail segment and mount, and when the GoPro mount isn’t needed, you can simply remove the mount, leaving a standard picatinny rail segment for use with whatever other accessory you want. The mount is actually threaded, so to my surprise, I did not need an end-cap to keep the GoPro fastened in place. All it needs is the main screw!Great product.

This is a very sturdy mount. They also have it in key mod. You can take the GoPro part off and just have a picatinny rail if you want.It fastens on to to your tails fast and easy. You do have to crank down on the knob to tighten it up some but over all it is a solid mount .It’s all aluminum so it’s well made. I will be testing this on my YouTube channel fathertimenc on a .450 BushMaster. I don’t know how the GoPro will like the recoil but I will find out. If you have a rail and want to capture hunting clips or just out target practicing I recommend this mount. My review hopefully will be up sometime this weekend got to work this Friday night till Saturday morning so I will try my best if you want to see what it actually looks like on a gun.

As someone who doesn't care much for M-Lock system, this mounting piece really does the trick. it snapped right onto my gun with no issues and impressed me with its dual functionality and lightweight construction. After shaking it around while attached to my gun, i noticed no wobble or bending. Excellent product for the price.

I just mounted this on my 9mm AR pistol. I'll update this review if I have any issues with it after I've shot it.So far, the only potential issue is that the main post that holds the mount can be loosened and rotated. I forgot to tighten it all the way when I rotated it 90 degrees. So it was a little wobbly. Once I figured out it was my fault and tightened it, all was good. Holds my Intova 4k action camera quite nicely.
