Instruction is bad; you must be pretty handy to properly install this ladder. No customer support whatsoever. All rods were loose. I gave it three stars only because it looks decent and works after all the hustles.

Instructions are pretty much useless. You have to be handy to install. Some scratches on beams, and the shipping box was badly damaged as if this was a previously returned product and repackaged. I can still make it work for me.Side note, I didn’t realize my house had 24 inch studs in the basement and so I had to add additional support to make it work. Something to consider.

This is a really interesting ladder and I've honestly never seen one like it before. That it anchors to the wall is really novel for me. And so I googled this as "Swedish wall ladder" which is the description. What I gathered (because the images in the listing are not especially helpful since none are of someone actually using it) is that this is for flexibility improvement, which of course increases balancing and strength by gently warming up and refining the muscles. This one is only a 265-pound capacity (not a very wide range for adults who are really looking to start an easy exercise/stretching program to help get fit or healthy). I think a minimum 330 for adults when it comes to exercise equipment. And it is is very heavy, so I don't doubt that it can support that weight. The question is: can my wall? I don't know that I would trust hanging 265-pounds from my wall. So I think this would be fine doing stretches without actually climbing or suspending from it. Even putting it into a stud leaves me hesitant because this is not a gym, it's a house. A concrete wall would be better, but if I stuck it in the basement, it would likely rust and would honestly never get used. So, here is what I can tell you: this is a really great starter Swedish wall ladder but it has limitations in terms of the weight it can support. How it is installed will be vital to it's performance and whether it will be able to support up to 265-pounds and whether the wall will be able to support the 265-pounds in addition to the weight of the ladder. It is heavy duty and beautiful to look at. I definitely recommend this with the caveats mentioned.
