Frustration set in after continually tightening the toilet seat screws, so I acquired these universal toilet seat screws.My original toilet seat screws broke at the head and washer mold. I went ahead and assembled the new toilet screw sets and appreciated the screw, metal washer, nut and rubber ring. This helps to stabilize and reduce seat slippage. In contrast, slipping will seat return but less frequent as with previous screws.Overall, this is a low-cost alternative versus replacing the old toilet seat. The screw sets already are proving to keep the seat in place. I am very pleased with this product.

Basic universal toilet seat screws. They work exactly as expected. They claim to be rust-resistant but only time will tell!
