I am a female 5'2" and bought this to keep in my backpack for hiking. It fits snug on the hips (which I expected). I like that it has 2 pockets inside, a zippered pocket at my chest to hold a phone or keys, and a hood for extra warmth.

Do not waste your money. They advertised it as if it really was a winter coat. It's not even a lightweight puffer jacket. This so called coat can only be used for 1or2 degrees below the normal i.e. if you live in Florida and your normal is 80F% but it's now 78F% and your feelings uncomfortable use the jacket for a quick fix other than that it's useless.

It’s October and we live in WY and we’ve had temperatures in the teens already and my son (Average Kindergartener) says he stays warm in this at recess. (Long sleeve shirt underneath ) even though the jacket is on thinner side. Not very thick at all. But he is loving it so far. **edit** originally gave it 5 stars. But now giving it 3. It was pretty much done after washing it. And i had to put it in the washer because kindergartners can be filthy... it was beyond spot treating.
