I’ve bought a few cases for my iPad over the years, but this one disappoints me the most. The groves to stand up your iPad are too shallow and it slips out all the time if bumped ever so slightly. Deeper groves would help greatly. You can’t use the iPad just on your lap or it falls down all the time and is so annoying, The cover is also showing a lot of wear and the pleather cracking is falling off near the bend point and it wasn’t very old when this started. Save your money and buy a different case. (My other cases from other brands also showed wear over time, but it was more of design fading, rather than chunks coming off)

This case is great protection for my iPad Pro. This is the second one I’ve ordered. The first one lasted six years and I liked it so much I didn’t even look at other designs. It protects my iPad when I’m traveling. Looks great and the price is ideal!

found the finish coming off the corners within 3 months, the plastic circle for rotating the pad broke 4 months after purchase. I would not purchase another

Great looking case. A lot of value for the low cost. The ridges where the tablet sits on to stand up are a little to small so if it is on non-sturdy surface (like your lap) it will likely fall down. Also, while it is in perfect t condition the corner part that folds when you open/close the pad seems like it will wear out after awhile. However it is inexpensive so it would be unfair to compare it to a case that is 3 times the price.EDIT; changed this review from 4 stars to 1. After just a few weeks the case is completely ruined. The ridges around the edges of the case that keep the case together have completely tore off leaving the case a shadow of its former self. I am now having to buy a new case.

The frame on this case seems to be just a shade shallow - for housing the iPad. The iPad just barely sits in the frame and could pop out easier than my old one. It does fit and I might have kept it because it was reasonably priced but then I just noticed a mar in the edge of the case which might impact it's longevity. Also the position grooves that hold the ipad in an upright position are not very deep, which may make it a bit more difficult for it to remain in upright position when on your lap.
