Finally got this check on my lathe. It runs very true, nice quality for the press.

Good enough

After taking it apart and cleaning and removing the sharp edges it looks fine had to make a backing plate from a blank to fit my south bend 9A it runs within a few thousand of an inch.

N'achetez pas ça la, je pense qu'ils l'ont fait à la lime lolllll Malgré une assiette parfaite, ce dernier ne parvient pas à tourner rond à aucune grandeure, de toute évidence, c'est la spirale qui est en cause car il change de défaut en fonction de combien il est ouvert, les mors sont également en faute car il n'ont même pas tous la même longueur, c'est à croire qu'ils les pigent au hasard ... Tellement croche qu'il vibre, son corps quant à lui, il tourne parfaitement rond ... Vaut mieux en choisir un que vous ajusterez à votre goût ... Vraiment!

Good quality

Bought lots of products from VEVOR and they are excellent quality for the right price. I just don't no how they do it. This 3 jaw 6" Self Centering lathe chuck is no exception. Quality made and smooth mechanism and great finish and accurate. I already have the 10" chuck / the 8" rotary table and many more and the quality is just the same so i've rated this 5 stars.

I ordered this and I need to adapt to my lath. Does not have a threaded insert for the back. But I will adapt a fitting for it

Eccentricità pezzo dichiarata 0,05 mm rilevata con barra rettificata 0,5 mm, quindi inacettabile.Inoltre un morsetto chiude solo sulla parte anteriore. Reso subito, per fortuna acquistato su Amazon che mi ha rimborsato subito.

I ordered this three jaw after I returned a four jaw chuck back to Amazon the four jaw had 5000. Imperial inch run out. No no excuse for that pile of junk. China now refuses to grind down the jaws of all chucks on Amazon the K series chucks JUNK, the three jaw junk and I think this is intentional. China manufactures refuse to grind the jaws correctly. I have two 100 mm chucks for my former 7 by 14 lathe, both these chuck’s had practically zero run out.The Vevor chuck I bought for 99.00 dollars I was not expecting much. This 125 mm. Three jaw sold by Amazon made in China , first their where no numbers in the chuck jaw slots for jaw 1 and 2 requiring guess work on my part. I had to line up on my bench too calculate the slots on each one finding lowest to highest . I managed to get the jaws to close evenly I placed some 2 inch round stock in it that must have the outside milled properly accurately I pre did this in my independent four jaw each of the four pieces ran at .0005 in the three jaw I had to resurface these in the three jaw because the four jaw put marks on pieces surface due over tightening, the three did a good job and ended with zero run out on each piece, today I needed to place each in my three jaw again, they all wobbled at .0004 thou of inch run out and I repositioned them all in the jaws the best I could do by smacking the piece with soft mallet was 3.5 thou Vevor advertised this chuck at max .002 listen according to (Now Popular Belief) all three jaw chucks have huge run out which is normal this is hog wash. China is intentionally manufacturing garbage chucks and selling them on Amazon . I have never ever heard of taking a chuck apart and cleaning it out of metal chips after each use. I will never buy a chuck on Amazon again. Now today I have take this chuck apart clean it too see if I can zero run out . Any chuck that has more then .0005 thou run out is junk send them back their is no such thing as a in accurate self centering three in China they use three jaw self centering chuck for every accurate part they make with zero run out how can that be. Do machinists here think that Chinese manufactured have time to dial in a independent four jaw with every piece . Answer No Way. So China and Amazon what’s your excuse for selling three jaw chucks with .002 run out when if the chucks are properly machined the slots properly machined and internal parts properly machined and properly ground jaws then each is checked before shipment then their no problem. It is impossible to buy three different chucks and have massive run out. My wm210V sold to my by Amazon came with a three jaw 38 mm centre spindle hole now every person outside of me that bought this lathe stated the three jaw came with the unit was extremely accurate but mine was out by 5000.The I bought the four jaw independent from Amazon this a good chuck, then I replaced the three jaw that came with my lemon lathe with a Ratt something or other four jaw self centeringThis chuck from Amazon out by 5000 , this I returned and bought the Vevor three jaw this as well now a lemon out by 4 thou. I have three days to send it back perhaps I will but my wife took the box it came in cannot find it.
