It was not as pictured. The only way it would have worked for us is if it was exactly like it was pictured with a ridge around the smaller end so it would enable the use of a strap clamp. Instead, the small end came in smooth and tapered. Because if this, there’s no way a strap clamp can hold without sliding off.

Not sure if I received a defective one or what, but mine is smooth where the hose slides on, so the hose will slide right back off even if clamped if any force is applied. Since I have been waiting for this part I may try it and hope it doesn't come off, but everyone be aware, where it shows in the picture there is a rib for the clamp to clamp the hose and hold it on, there is no rib, the whole section where the hose slides on is smooth, some one forgot to grind the indentation into the hose grip part during production so now they are passing them off this way.Update: I had the first one replaced but the second one arrived without the groove also. I do not know that it wouldn't work without the groove, there should not be a lot of pressure, but if I hook it up and it doesn't work I now own it. I would rather get one that I know works and will hold. Nice idea, nice product, they just need to talk to the manufacturer and get it produce just like the picture they show.
