  • Good mechanical properties and high wear resistance NBR. Good resistance to many petroleum oils, greases, hydraulic fluids, alcohol, mineral oil, and grease.
  • Buna-nitrile is vulnerable to acetone, ethers, esters, ozone, sunlight, and weathering and should therefore not be used in ozone-generating electric motors, welding equipment, or in applications with exposure to UV light.

I have an oddball sized big blue whole house water filter that I needed to replace the sealing ring on. This company was one of the few that exactly described the inner and outer diameters as well as the thickness. That's not true of all companies that sell this type of ring. Most leave out important dimensions or don't specify whether it's the inner or outer diameter.The rings that uxell sent me fit perfectly. They make several different sizes, so measure carefully and search Amazon for the correct one.
