This product is a USB-B to USB-C cable. I used it to connect a tablet and a MIDI keyboard, and there were no particular issues in my setup. Although the cable was functional, the wiring was quite minimal: two data wires, power, and ground. Contrary to the product description, the shield of both connectors were not connected. The cable was noticeably thin, which suggests that the cable might lack a shield structure. Additionally, I was not impressed with the quality of the plug, especially on the USB-C side. The lack of a shield connection is a concern in terms of noise resistance. Most generic USB-B to USB-C USB2 cables should be able to be used for USB-MIDI connections without any problems. As this cable does not seem particularly cheap at the point of review, so I recommend comparing multiple cables before purchasing.
