It fits the Volvo C30 T5 Type-R.Good quality, and compared to the original they look the same, so I expect it to last at least five years. Almost six months now and its working fine. Will update if something goes wrong. In the meanwhile, buy it with confidence.Be aware that it does not come with the cap, but the original cap fits this product

So far, so good. 2007 Volvo V50 that developed a slight crack in the top of the tank and you could see coolant bubbling out of the top. I took the original one out of the car and installed this myself.....took about 10 minutes. I would wear gloves when doing it as I did come away with some scrapes trying to pull the old one out. I used the same hose clamps that were already on the car and just used pliers to expand them and pulled the hoses off. Not a difficult job at all.....just make sure you have a bucket or large cup in arm's reach for any coolant that might come out of the hose. On a scale of 1-10 on the ease scale with 1 being the EASIEST, I would give this job a 2.Good product and seem to be exactly as the OEM part and these are a LOT cheaper.

I noticed my 2005 S40 T5 AWD with 155kmi was making a gurgling sound after trips. Originally I suspected it was because the engine remained hot and was not retaining pressure and subsequently boiling coolant. I blamed the original cap and bought another (by URO). Unfortunately this repair didn't fix the gurgling at all... because there was a hairline crack in the expansion reservoir causing pressure not to be retained. This crack became a coolant drain when the coolant heated up and actually resulted in me spewing coolant a few times in various parking spots. Here's a tip if you find yourself in a similar predicament while waiting for your replacement expansion reservoir: once you turn off the car, turn the heater on full blast and let it blow for a minute or two. From my testing this method was sufficient to control the expansion of the heated coolant and prevented overflow. Anyway, expansion tank replacement was a sinch for me, 15-20 minutes max, which included a few min break to bandage my hand which I cut on the firewall's sheet metal in the engine bay. Make sure you wear leather gloves, I usually do but this time I paid for not doing it.
