I have used several of these cards in recent years. They are quite convenient. This one is priced at $40CAD where I live, which is fairly expensive for a 10GB simcard. That said, this is geared for convenience more than budget. This card is for India, and I'm guessing that you could get something cheaper "on the street" at a kiosk. So why get this? It's simple to use. You just contact the vendor in advance of your trip and set up an activation date. This means you can land in India and your phone is working right away. No need to hit a kiosk after you leave the airport. For some people, this is worth the extra cost. Personally, it depends on the place for me. If cellphone rates are really cheap, I usually hit a kiosk. If the place is more expensive, I'll go with something like this. Or, if I'm in a rush, this is good.I'm happy with this product.

This travel sim for India from TravSIM does require an activation procedure before travelling. This SIM comes with 10 GB of data with a validity period of 15 days. This sim supports roaming in more than 15 nearby countries so you can stay connected if you travel to more than just India. This sim does not support calls or texts so you can have use VoLTE as long as your regular carrier supports this when overseas. I usually just use data, so this isn't very important for me. The current price of $40 CAD is reasonable.

I got this for my wife as her phone can’t use eSIM. You get a SIM card that gives you the option to use a standard, micro, or nano SIM card. They recommend that you schedule your activation by going to their website and then you’re all set. One thing I really like is that while this says it’s an “India SIM card”, it actually covers many countries in Southeast Asia.I’ve used one for Europe in the past and this is a great way to be able to stay in touch with family back home - as well as with family you’re travelling with - and avoid the exorbitant roaming fees charged by Canadian cell providers.

This SIM card for India and Asia will be really useful. It provides me with 10GB of data (although the ad says 15???), which is plenty for my trip. I like that it functions in numerous countries across Asia, not just India.I need to plan ahead to activate it, as this process can take up to a day. It fits my phone well; it came with all the necessary sizes. Recommended.

Used this SIM for a 2 day trip in India. Setup was easy, and it worked well in cities. But in rural areas, the signal was weak or dropped completely. Fine for basic browsing and maps, but not great for streaming and work.
