I bought this set for our "family cottage olympics". Everyone had a ball with the set. The only suggestion I would make is to add a "bead" on the string to hold the arrow in place for beginners.

I love the style and build of the bow. The arrows came with bent flights, and the string broke after a few tries. Could be a great product for costumes

Arrows seem cheap. Bow seems nice and sturdy. Still nice for beginners and great for safety training and accuracy along with price. Will enjoy teaching my teens before we move up to a Crossbow and Compound. Came on time for once. Thanks. And thought it came with 6 arrows not 3?

At first I would say it was a great product, everything listed arrived in about 3 days but after my 2nd time using it (about 2 hours of using) it snapped in half breaking and rendering it useless. So for the price range if you want to have a functional how for about 2 hours I recommend but if you want something you can actually use ide pass on this one...

It's a really cheap bow and is strong and comes with equipement. I would say about 20LB draw weight maybe, it is not for hunting as it can only kill birds and squirrels but is really good for beginners. I would recommend using cardboard for the target then sticking the papers on because the arrows aren't sharp enough to shoot into wood or stone.

I'm a beginner at archery and I think this is a good starter kit to see if you'll like the sport or not (I do!). My main beef with that kit is that even though it's targeting beginners, there were no instructions whatsoever for anything in the package: how to assemble the bow? How to string the bow? What are all those accessories? How to shoot correctly? So I had to figure out by myself how to assemble the bow and look on the Internet for the rest (like how could I have known I had to twist the string 12-15 times?). Also, even though the description says 35lbs, I doubted it so I measured with a dynanometer and rather got a reading of 20lbs, which is Indeed how it felt to me. Plus, I since learned that this is not a recurve bow as stated, but rather more akin to a long/straight bow. Over all, not bad for the price, but since I now know more about archery I would have selected something else.
