Took the night sights off of my Custom 2 to put on my Ultra Carry 2. Missed having them on the Custom 2 so bought these. Went on easily and actually sighted in more accurately than the stock Kimber sights. Nice and bright. Very happy and satisfied with the product. Highly recommend for Kimber 1911!

I had my doubts about the potential fit of the sights based on some reviews. However it fit my Kimber Pro Carry perfectly. It installed easily with no drama using a sight pusher.You *do* need to use a sight pusher to install them. The impacts from driving them in with a hammer and drift punch will most likely cause the tritium vials to crack and allow the tritium to leak out. Besides resulting in dim and (not long after totally black) sights, releasing the tritium is a bad idea as it is radioactive and you really don’t want to inhale it,I had also read reviews claiming the lamps were dim. I’ve posted a picture of these new TruGlosights on my Kimber Pro Carry II along side the factory installed Meprolight night sights on my 12 year old Kimber Custom Shop CDP II. As you can see the TruGlo sights are bright and the 12 year old sights on the CDP II are clearly showing the effects of the 12 year half life of tritium. Given the brightness of the TruGlo sights I ordered a second set this afternoon to replace the sights on my CDP II.(Update: I installed the second set tonight on my Kimber Compact CDP and they are just as bright as the first set.)The only negative is that the aesthetics are not quite as nice as the original Kimber sights. The front of the nice doesn’t blend into the profile of the slide like it does with the originals but they still look fine on the gun.Taking some care in centering the new sights consistent with the old sights my pistol still shoots to point of aim in both elevation and wind age.

These sites are very nice. Extremely bright as far as night sights go. Even in daylight the white ring makes them easy to acquire. Would get 5 stars but just like the TFX sights they dont come all the way to the rear they leave a small ledge to the rear leaving the firing pin block exposed. Not really a big deal it just doesnt look right to me. Also TruGlo has failed to return any of the rmails or phone calls ive made about these sights. I might have been able to live with the shelf issue if the customer service was better.

This set of sights were to replace a standard set on my Kimber Super Carry Pro-the rear set installed with zero fitting required.The front sight needed very minor fitting to slide in-I had a set of Meprolight originally on this pistol and the Truglo are just as bright with a good sight picture.I am saying these are a great value-considering other brands are easily double the money with no improvement of quality or usability.

Great tritium sights. EXCELLENT customer service from TRUGLO. The front sight I used blue loc-tite and it was an excellent fit. For the rear, I slid the sight in from right to left as usual but the friction was not felt until it went way past the center line. Sure the set-screw could hold it in place but I wanted friction as well as the screw to hold it in place. Called up TRUGLO, had the slide sent in (slide only, no frame, no barrel, no recoil spring), had the rear sight sent in also and it was returned 2 weeks later set nicely in place by TRUGLO. I've had about 4 other tritium sight sets from TRUGLO and this was the first one I had to send in for this issue. I would definitely buy from them again. The glow is very nice and bright compared to 3 other tritium brands. All 3 dots are visible on the nightstand. They do drown out as often as others when a flashlight is used against a target. All that is visible is the outline of the black sights. IMPORTANT NOTE: The picture online for the rear sight is not what I received, but a better fitting one for my Kimber Ultra Carry II. The dovetail of the one I received has it located toward the front to account for the dovetail location on the slide and makes a nice clean fit. Picture provided. All in all, these are great tritium sights.

These sights are really nice. Great upgrade over the stock black sights. Had to have a gunsmith install them as the front was a little small for the existing dovetail on the Kimber.
