Your cart is empty.Tekton Thin Wall Impact Flip Sockets are ideal for servicing wheels on cars, trucks, utility trailers, and more. The six-point design offers a snug fit and sure contact with the broad, flat sides of a lug nut, not just the corners, preserving its geometry and preventing round-off. The outer diameter is 1 to 2 mm smaller than other Tekton impact sockets, providing clearance to slide into recessed lug nut wells. Each socket meets a minimum of 1.3 times the ANSI/ASME standard for proof torque and is made from 4140 Chromium-Molybdenum steel with a corrosion resistant manganese phosphate coating.

I needed a thin-walled socket to loosen a bolt inside a 2"X2" inch tube. This socket did the trick, perfect for the job. Solidly built, would buy products from this vendor in future.

I replaced the Hot Water Tank Anode… required thin wall 1 1/16” socket. Only one available was this ‘flip socket’ which I already have 1” thin wall.

I am hoping Tekton sees this. If you choose a different socket than a one inch, the larger description doesn't change which is for the one inch , so that is what they send. There apparently is no way to order the socket that you actually want. I am tired of returns. Tekton , you are a very good company. Please fix your web page so that Amazon has a clue as to what to do.
