As soon as I saw this 2 pack watercolour paint set I knew I had to get it for my niece. She is quite the artist at drawing and thought that she would enjoy trying water colours for the first time. I wish the booklets were not identical so that you could get more than 20 pictures, but great for those who are gifting or buying this for multiple people. The water pen is easy to use, however it seems to be reversed on how to unscrew the cap (turn right instead of left). The paper stock is very thick and the water colours doesn’t warp or leak through, which is great. Each page has a tear off section of 6 paint colours, however, you can try to mix your own colours as well. I tried one page to see the ease of it, I was able to colour the whole page with a drop or 2 of water on each colour, so I’ll be able to reuse these paint colours. In the back of the booklet you get extra sheets of paint if you run out, and you are also given a thin regular paint brush. The thin paint brush comes in handy as there are some hard to paint areas with the water brush because the sections were too small/narrow. The water colour does not take long to dry and it dries well. Would recommend.

Im Rahmen von Amazon Vine, was keinerlei Einfluss auf die Bewertung hat, durften wir diesen Artikel testen. Die Lieferung erfolgte gewohnt zügig und unkompliziert sowie gut in transparenter Kunststofftüte verpackt.Enthalten sind zwei Malblöcke mit entsprechenden Aquarellfarben auf Papier sowie ein Spezialpinsel. Dieser wird mit Wasser gefüllt und durch leichtes Drücken wird das Wasser auf die Farbpalette gebracht um die Farbe zu verflüssigen - und schon kann losgemalt werden. Je nach Feuchte ergeben sich schöne Farbverläufe von deckenden Farbtönen bis hin zu pastellartigen.Wir haben damit alle viel Freude und ich bin ich mit diesem Produkt sehr zufrieden.

This watercolour book is adorable, easy to set up and use, and my daughter loves to paint. I am sure that this book will not last long, and will definitely buy another set for her to paint some more.

Sehr hübsche Vorlagenkarten warten darauf mit Hilfe eines mit Wasser gefüllten Stiftes aufleuchten zu dürfen. Diesen Malspass kann man überall mit hinnehmen, es gibt keine Flecken unddie Faszination hält lange an. Sehr gelungen, nach dem Trocknen abwaschbar und somit sogar mehrfach verwendbar.

The problem with some watercolour paint sets is that the paper is too thin, and the paper deforms. I don't know how thick this paper is, but the thickest card stock I have for cardmaking is 110 lbs, and this is a thicker material, less likely to deform.This two-pack set contains identical books, which could be a disappointment when given to one girl or great when given to two girls. While these are likely too expensive for party favours for some families, the two packs could be split up and added to party favour gift bags.Each book has storage for the water pen and paintbrush. There is a spare sheet of extra paint squares. The perforations allow the paint squares to be separated into three strips. Once a page is painted, the perforations allow for easy detachment. If laminated, they would make great bookmarks.Because we ordered these as gifts and separated them, we did not test to see if there was enough paint to complete all the pictures, and we did not see how clean the perforated edge was.I quickly and easily recognized most of the stories in the book. They include Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White, Little Mermaid, Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and the Beast, Rapunzel, Princess and the Pea, Aladdin, Pinnochio, Puss 'n Boots, Princess and the Frog, Sleeping Beauty, Jack and the Beanstalk, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and Cinderella. The rest I did not recognize or was uncertain of.

The integrated palettes mean there is no fighting over the paints as they each have their own, right on the page.These little books are very easy to use, you literally just use the water brush provided (perfect for travel), or the fine brush, dip in water and wet the paints on the palette. Instant water colours that don't drip all over everywhere or make a big mess. They easily wash off hands and child safe which is very important to me.My little ones adore the original designs in these books and have a lot of fun painting with them. I do wish they had some other colours to choose from on the pages instead of the exact same set. However they are still cute and very enjoyable.These little books are so portable they easily fit in a handbag, backpack, carryon bag etc.They make a nice little gift for a special little person in your life.I recommend this product.

This set comes with 2 small, thin pads, containing paint by number style illustrations from various fairy tales. Each pad is identical and comes individually packaged as a set, with a plastic water brush which you fill with water. I completely failed to be able to unscrew either of the brushes included until I discovered an instruction sheet right at the back which tells you it's reverse threaded, doh! There's also a small conventional paintbrush included in a cutout inside a thick cardboard 'sheet' so it can be stored inside.The paper feels a decent weight and is very smooth, a little texture might have been nice for watercolour style effects. The small paint pads work well with the included waterbrush and there's easily enough paint to complete each picture, especially as the images are quite small (approx 5cm x 19cm). With the tall narrow shape they would make nice bookmarks once completed.This would make a nice travel activity as it's nice and compact, and a good way to introduce children to watercolour type painting techniques. Younger children might struggle due to the very small size of the pictures, so a decent amount of manual dexterity and fine control is needed. I don't think I'd give them to toddlers as the product description suggests. The fact you get two identical sets is nice as two children could complete them together, or a parent with a child. I feel it's a little expensive for what it is but pleased nonetheless.

These water colour paint sets are great for the little ones. There are two books and each book comes with 20 designs for them to get stuck into. Down the left side of each book there is six different paint blocks which some extra paints in the back. The paints along the left hand side are removable so you have a finished clean design. Both books come with a paint brush you fill with water and when you give it a little squeeze it releases the water to wet the paint blocks for use. The girls absolutely loved getting stuck into these. They kept them entertained for hours. They are also small in size so easy to pop into a bag when going out. I love these little water colour books, I'm really happy with them and would highly recommend them.

The price is so right for 2 of these little watercolour paint books. I ordered these because my niece was going to be spending time with her grandmother over a weekend. She loves art, and her grandmother was looking for activities to do with her.They both enjoyed using the books and showed me the finished paintings. What I noticed right away is that the paper does an excellent job of absorbing water, which true watercolour paper should. And the little palettes that are on each page provide brilliant colours that spread across the paper nicely.Her grandmother is a 'colour between the lines' kind of person, and she did a great job of doing that precisely with the brush that was provided. While my niece's more fluid art style created an equally beautiful painting as her grandmother's.I am really impressed with the extra pages of palettes at the back of each watercolour book. And there is a paint brush secured in a holder inside each pad. It's such a unique and well thought out placement of a watercolour art supply.I highly recommend this 2 pack of watercolour paint books. They get a solid 5 stars!
