Very nice workout equipment. This push plate has been a real blessing to me. I am disable veteran with a crack hip socket. I can no longer do conventional exercises out of the water. I combine it with Speedo Nemesis Swim Fin as well as the AquaLogix Green High-Speed Aquatic Fins - Omni-Directional for an intense workout. Because of my injuries I received in the United States Army I can now only attend water aerobics classes. In Water Aerobics I am often surrounded by people who are either morbidly obese or is twice my age the push plate adds the extra resistance I require to get awesome workout. Definitely 4 stars. I am going to buy another one so I have can use them as dumb bells.

The quality and looks are very impressive. The four handles are very well designed and very ergonomic. This is a great addition to a swimmer's workout. I use my Speedo Push Plate in-between drills. I have already made up different exercises, ten in all, which I repeat ten times at the end of a 100 meter sprints for a total of 1000 meters. If I have a recommendation for Sppedo to for improvements, there are two: (1) provide an 'add on' rubber piece to increase the opening of the interior handles- my hand is small (I'm 5'-7" and 150 lbs) and fits perfectly find but anyone having a larger hand would definitely have a hard time with the current opening; (2) in the future iteration maybe Speedo would provide some sort of rubber screw and nut on the center plate so that we may add a 5 lb or 10 lb weight to add a higher level of resistance as we get better with the stand alone unit as currently built. Finally, on average I swim about 30,000 meters a week and own Speedo Fins (two sets), Hand Paddles (three sets) and Goggles and I am irrefutably pleased with the quality of their products. By the way, I'm 65 years old.
