We had one pair before but it grew legs and left our residence, we HAD to get another pair.The ratchet makes it a snap to cut branches. (as long as you dont try to cut trees) :)Highly recommended tool!There is a larger version that has extended handle too, kind of one of those Lock cutters. have that too and love it too!
