This really slows my golden retriever rescue’s eating down. The first day she was annoyed with the being unable to inhale her food but she has gotten used to it really quickly.

This is a great slow feeder. My miniature schnauzer is a fast eater, but this feeding bowl slows him down considerably. It's well made and very sturdy and heavy.

I had the hard plastic slow feed dog dish but my dog chewed it up. This dish is easy to clean and my dog cant carry it around because it is heavier.

We wanted something that would slow our pup down when eating, and the one requirement was it couldn't be plastic and it had to be weighted enough so it wouldn't slide off of her little table. We decided to give this a try and it works like a charm. It is great quality, is heavy enough so it doesn't slide around when our pup is eating, and is the perfect size for her cup of food. All if the ridges inside are smooth. I haven't actually timed her, but it has definitely slowed her down! We've accidentally banged it against the sink a time or two and dropped it once and it didn't chip at all. We liked it so much we bought a second one so we could always have a clean one. Does well in the dishwasher.
