These are the best. Nice and sturdy. Heavy, just like some I got years ago. Glad I picked these!

These stainless handles should mount in the same screw holes as the ubiquitous chrome plated Perko handle and be an ideal replacement, and they can be. I’m very satisfied with my purchase because I don’t have to worry about the chrome plating coming off of die cast handles any more. If they aren’t replacing a previous handle these are a better choice than most similar handles because the hand hold is larger making it more comfortable to use, especially for heavy objects. As replacement handles, a buyer who owns a metal working vise with a 6” jaw capacity or larger is inconvenienced by the need to spend less than 60 seconds per handle to correct the hole spacing. A buyer without the required vise would not be able to mount the handle as a replacement using the same screw holes. They’re well cast with enough handle diameter to be used for heavy objects. They’re well polished and the mounting surface is ground smooth. The ends of the casting are very slightly asymmetric The holes were drilled by an amateur who assumed the ends were symmetrical and that all parts were trimmed and ground identically - which they weren’t. The hole pattern on the parts I received was a little over 1/8 inch too long and one end was skewed 8°. The handles were adjusted in a metal working vise first to true the skewed end and for the correct spacing between ends. I used 2 squeezes per adjustment, 1 to get close and 1 for final fit. I had intended to use 3 squeezes for the first part, but I got there in 2. It would be easy to over-correct the handles.

So far had them outside in the elements 100 feet from the Gulf of Mexico. They show no signs of corrosion yet. Won’t install them on my Boston whaler for a few more months
