Clean install Windows 10. Allow it to update. Then IMMEDIATELY go to My Computer, right-click on your C drive, click Properties. Uncheck the little box at the bottom that says " "Allow files on this drive to have contents indexed in addition to file properties." LEAVING THIS ENABLED WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR LAPTOP! Next, run a de-bloat script from the website Chris Titus Tech called "One Command". Just copy and paste the command line into Windows Powershell. Run the de-bloat script. This permanently disables all unnecessary windows telemetry and background processes eating up system memory. Next run a free-to-use program called O&O Shut Up v.10. Apply only the recommended settings. This disables even more telemetry. Last, every time you power on your laptop be sure to disable Windows Update by typing "Services" in the search bar. Scroll all the way down.Disable that crap. EVERY TIME YOU TURN ON THE LAPTOP. Enjoy your faster laptop!

Llegó rápido y bien. Lo usé para duplicar un disco de PC con distintos sistemas operativos y funciona de maravilla. Todos los sistemas los logró hacer funcionar tan bien como el disco orígen.

I installed this HDD in my Lenovo T430s laptop with Window 10 Pro which had an identicle HDD, but Windows 10 Recovery USB and my backuped software said there was no HDD. It appears the new drive did not have drivers and was not formated. I used drivers from another Lenovo laptop with the same drive, but couldn't get them transferred to the new drive. Aren't new HDD supposed to come with drivers and formatting? What am I doing wrong?

Collegato al portatile usando StarTech USB3S2SAT3CB Cavo Adattatore per dischi rigidi USB 3.0 a SATA III da 2.5`` con UASP - Convertitore Sata SSD/HDD https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B00HJZJI84/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ha funzionato subito con Ubuntu linux. Formattato GUID ho creato copia delle 9 partizioni del mio HP e le ho salvate in attesa di scambiare il nuovo disco con il vecchio che è stanco dopo quasi 6 anni!

Good hard drive. Used it for close to a month now on my PS3 FAT and it works beautifully. Seagate has been a brand choice of mine for years and they have a low failing rate judging by how long I've had my drives in working condition. I highly recommend this drive for upgrading your PS3 if you had a low capacity like mine [80gb]. Six stars if I could. Very pleased. Price was cheapest out of all the stores I looked in. Thank you!

Passte exakt in den dafür vorgesehenen Platz und ersetzt nun die nach nur 3 Jahren "verstorbene" Originalplatte.Geschwindigkeit und Kapazität für meinen Zwecke und in dem gegebenen Notebook mehr als ausreichend.Habe noch keine Probleme mit Ruckeln von HD-Filmen oder sonstige Schwierigkeiten gehabt.Wärmeentwicklung ist ebenfalls posititv zu bewerten.

Beautiful hard drive. I used it to upgrade my ps3 fats 80 gb hard drive to this one. It is compatible in every way and easy to install and run games off of it. I would recommend to anyone wanting to upgrade storage in any ps3 console or laptop.

I do not yet have real experience with this HDD beyond having had no problem installing and integrating it into my desktop. Formatting resulted in 100 MB being "reserved" by some unknown cause and reason, although this is no major problem for myself. Helmut JH

I have bought this drive for my ps3 .It works fine and I think itz the cheap and best hdd out there .The Best part is I'm gettin a 500 Gb drive for 2.6k that too from a reputed brand .I will surely recommend this to all Ps3 gamers out ter who are looking out for a best hard drive to expand the storage .Hats off to amazon as they delivered the drive the next day of my order.
