Our genuine Panamas are hand woven by our skilled craftspeople in Ecuador (home of the Panama), and are checked and finished by our team in Bristol, England. Each stylish hat is carefully woven by hand from many thin "iraca" palm fibres resulting in a brilliantly light and breathable hat. This model is finished in our Fedora style which suits the majority of head shapes and is good for both smart and casual occasions.
Sizes are in centimetres. If you do not know your size, please use a soft measuring tape to find the circumference of your head - passing across the middle of the forehead to the widest point at the back (and then order your size in inches).

My hat arrived just fine, but the retail packaging allows the hat to shift. This shift allows the brim of the hat to fold, curl. I feel like I am wearing crocodile Dundee hat wear one side of the hat is folded up. Maybe I can steam it or use a book to help fix it, but I shouldn't have to.Other than that, the hat is made well and has good material.

This is an excellent hat -- there are many far less expensive Panama hats available online, but they are not the real McCoy. This one is a genuine Panama hat made in Ecuador. I like that this brand offers individualized sizes for the best fit instead of the S,M,L or even worse, the one-size-fits-all. I'm a woman and I like the style of these hats, so I don't really care if it is really more a style for a man to wear. I wear a size 6 3/4 and often have a hard time finding a hat that will work. I was so happy to find this terrific hat made of toquilla fibers; so much cooler than the paper straw that is so prevalent now. The hat fits perfectly, and feel feather-light. It looks great with the leather hat band providing a nice accent. Hat sizing pads were also included, if needed. The hat arrived in perfect condition despite the box having been slightly damaged during shipment. I am fair and sunburn easily so I wear hats all of the time and have a lot of them. This is by far the nicest hat I own and now that I know what I have been missing, I will definitely be looking to buy another one. The box it came in wasn't salvageable for me to use for storage, but I want to keep this hat as nice as possible so I ordered a hat box to keep it in. The current price of $89.95 is very reasonable for this beautifully made, high quality hat.

Very well made hat. It’s a tad small even though I measured twice to insure I got the right size for me. But it needed to be bigger. However, it does fit someone here so is already in use and being enjoyed. It’s a very sharp looking hand made hat with the leather trim giving it a stellar look. I didn’t find any manufacturing errors or loose threads anywhere to snipped and that’s a solid sign of excellent quality control at the source. Came in a well prepared thought out hat box that kept it in pristine condition all the way here. I’ll be ordering one for me that fits very soon because it’s a beautiful well made hand crafted hat. Four Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!

Summertime in Tennessee begs for a hat to protect your (and in my case, follically challenged) head and face from the Sun. However, the humidity makes wearing a hat a bit uncomfortable at times. I've got a couple of nice, and somewhat expensive hats, that have lots of synthetic fibers in them which, of course, cause sweat. Ugh. So I was looking out for a better hat for my new home. And I think I've found it with this Panama hat from Borges and Scott, which I obtained through the Vine program.The hat arrived in its box that I strongly suggest you retain to store the hat in when not in use or if the season has changed. The hat comes with an envelope of "patches" to place in the headband if the fit is loose, and a use/care guide (which I found immediately helpful as the hat had a small section that was misshapen during shipping). Following the instructions to shape the hat, I used a damp cloth and hair dryer (thank you, Spouse) to get the hat back in shape. And boy, does it look nice! The hat fit me perfectly and was very comfortable to wear. Even though Summer is winding down here, I am enjoying this hat immensely. I almost look forward to Summer next year so I can get a full season of use out of it.
