Very easy to install. Took only a couple of minutes. No instructions were included which I already knew before buying. Just go to Youtube to find an installation video. I replaced the OEM (plastic) cam lock with this steel one and it should last a very long time. This will insure that you won't lose your RV water heater cover while you are driving. Initially, the stem from this new cam lock would not fit through the hole where the OEM cam lock was removed. All you need to do is just use a pair of pliers and squeeze the tip of the stem to make it fit through the hole. Then attach the thumb tab to the stem and that's it. BTW, the thumb tab is thinner than the OEM plastic one and should fit through the slot on your water heater cover with no problem.

Comes in a pack of 2 and is built with a strong metal. Better than the plastic one I previously had that busted. Used on an 08 tent trailer, likely a pretty universal fit and half price compared to most dealers.
