I work in aviation and have built/repaired more David Clark headsets than I would have liked (it's also an Avionics Apprentice project). Aside from the earpads, these are amazing. I'm working on my PPL and didn't want to use the 1 of 3 headsets available at the school. The sound quality is PERFECT, when the time comes I'll upgrade the earpads to fancy gel at which point these will be 5-star. The headset is a little tight but I believe that may be the poor mans noise-cancelling lol.

I'm taking my PPL and using it daily and my instructor can't believe how crisp the sound is when I speak . I hear great with them too. Everything comes in clear .

Use them everyday of flight school and everyday since, they're not a bose but they definitely get the job done and are comfortable and are cheap for beginners on a budget I bought 3 more for passengers
