The square tubes on the TV mounting bracket are in the way of mounting the TV in the center. The TV is always 6" to off-center to one side or the other, and it is NOTICABLE. I'm using a generic Costco 55", probably the most common TV used for this work.Tech "support" told me the solution was to turn the mounting hardware 180 degrees. First, had I followed their advice, the TV would have tumbled to the ground because then the mounting teeth would have been facing the ceiling. As I showed them in multiple pictures, the mounting hardware was mounted correctly. Second, think about it...when you turn two parallel bars 180 degrees, they're still PARALLEL and the distance between them has not changed. How would this have fixed my centering problem? After more than a dozen frustrating emails strung out over a month, 2 days after the return window expired they told me they couldn't help. Nor could they make an exception to the return policy. I'm stuck. Also the base plate bolts are the wrong size. They poke through more than 1/8" and scratch the floor. The solution was to put rubber feet on the plate and use an extra washer.

it does have some heft to it the base plate is solid steel and with all uprights and tv mount that bag has a little weight as well not crazy awkward.1. Does not come with instruction book but a QR link to watch the mfg. you tube instruction videoit wants you to use the Philips head machine screw when attaching to the base on my unit it make itto long and they poke out the bottom of plate I used the bolts with a washer and it came out flush2. If you are buying this for quick assembly and disassembly. its not hours and I imaging you can getquick at doing it but you will have time invested so plan ahead for event set up I will probable keepmine assembled so I don't have to spend the time since I'm using the TV mount . If your using to holda speaker or moving head then it is 8 bolts / knobs wouldn't be to bad3. Use a ratchet and 13mm socket it will speed it up4. There are 2 sets of holes on the base plate they do not talk about from previous experience withother company's trusses I am going to move mine from the center position to the rear position.I am using this stand to hold a 65" tv and it will put the center of gravity better in the center on theplate and reduce the chances of the tv of tipping. If the truss is in the center position with a heavytv hanging on it it would have a higher chance of tipping over and hurting someone or damagingthe tv**UPDATE**depending on tv mounting options it may not sit center on truss due to mounts on back of TV and alignment of bracket on trussHope this helps someone-Matthew
