RETRACTABLE CANOPY

- Manufactured with stainless steel supporting cables and innovative brackets to make installation easy. The material is 80-85% UV protecting.

- Retractable canopies are wonderfully versatile; they can be attached to homes, trees, or patio columns. In addition, they can be supported by wood posts or steel columns embedded in concrete footings, and they can also be taken down seasonally as required.
The Fabric is made from only High-Density Polyethylene materials. They provide the best in visibility blockage and UV protection, available in 180 Grams per Square Meter (GSM). This GSM holds an 80-85% Visibility Blockage with a UV Protection of 90%.
The Sliding Hangers are installed with a Control Tape that allows for adjustment of the hanging shape; these hangers are adjustable on the Track Panels that holds the material. They clip onto the Steel Wire Cable which enables the material to slide on the wire.
The Pad eyes can be bolted to a deck or any secured frame. The pad eyes provide a secure attachment point for the wire cables and snap hooks.
The “U” shape allows the rain to run off the canopy or you can also easily pull back the shade panels and secure it in its retracted position when not in use or when inclement weather approaches to extend the life of your canopy

These were super easy to install in about 30 minutes. I had a 13’ span to cover, so got a 16 ‘ length but still had 3 full panels left over to cut. I think the 12’ would have worked for the amount of drop I wanted. Someclearer recommendations on length from the vendor would be good. All in all , I’d recommend them.

Finally installed the two sets of shades after putting off the installation a few months. There was certainly no need to wait that long, as the installation was much easier than anticipated. I got both shades up and operational in a little under 2 hours and 15 minutes. I built a large pergola last year and really should have hung these much sooner! It feels about 15-20 degrees cooler under the shades now that they are installed. They look nice. Nothing super fancy or elegant, but they fit in with my pergola and garden very nicely.If it is windy, these are going to slide on the wires. We got them at a very tight setting, but there is still some give to the wires as the shade is extended. However, they are staying in place nicely even without the white guide tape that came in the box. My brothers forgot to install that piece. Whoops! Anyway, shouldn’t be hard to unlatch the shades and put the tape in place. But without it, there isn’t an issue.These shades are so much more reasonably priced than any wind sail or shade company that will do a custom job for you. I’m talking thousands of dollars in savings for something that will get the job done just as well! I’ve got one weekend of use under my belt and I am a happy camper. Will check back in if there are any issues in the future or if the shades continue to do their job.

C'est ma 2e toile d'ombrage, mais celle-ci est mieux. En plus de faire de l'ombre, elle semble couper les rayons uv, parce qu'il fait plus frais que sous mon ancienne toile. Relativement facile d'installation.Le service après vente est bien, mais il n'a pas pu m'envoyer les pièces qui manquaient, j'ai donc du en recommandé un nouveau et renvoyé celui avec les pièces manquantes. C'est le seul bémol, mais je crois que les pièces manquantes étaient plutôt dû au transport et non la compagnie donc c'est pour ça que je mets 5 étoiles.

Installed three panels over our deck for shade. The instructions were very clear and informative. It took me and my wife most of one day to install the wire cables, curtain hooks, and then hang the curtains. It was a fair amount of work but nothing a novice could not handle. We are very pleased with the outcome.Two things I might add: one, the wire cable that supports the curtains was very strong. The hardest part of the project was trying to find a pair of cutters that could snip off the excess cable. Ended up buying bolt cutters that could also cut 1/2 inch wire!Second, we installed 90 lb magnets (purchased from Amazon) at the end curtain panels to hold the curtain out, in one position, when being used. A small breeze tended to cause the panel to retract.All in all, it the price was great for all you get and we couldn’t be happier about the results. The curtain material is really nice and does a great job of blocking West Texas sun. great product.

PROS: Pretty easy to understand and install it. Shade cloths typically are sold with a shade rating by percentage (not UV blocking), and while the listing doesn't say its probably in the 50% to 75% shade range. Looks OK, not great.CONS: I bought a 16' x 7' and the shade droops under it own weight by about 8 inches in the middle. I've gotten the cable as tight as I can, in fact the cable is mashing apart at the anchors where it makes a sharp 90 degree bend because it has so much tension on it, but it still droops fairly significantly. It should have about a 4" sweeping bend at the cable corners instead of a 1/4" anchor that the cable gets deformed on. I regret not buying two 4 foot versions but they weren't available, so I compromised. Big mistake. Personally I think using just one cable to provide two lines is not enough for the weight of the wide sizes. Should have used two cables sets and 4 lines. Also I bought beige, but it came with some discolored spots on the fabric. Very lame since I cant wash or clean them off. I paid $200 with delivery so I'm semi-satisfied, but I wouldn't order it again, or I'd only buy the narrowest version and inspect the cloth before installing. But if you're hoping it will look flat and taught like it does in the pictures - forget it. Those are cherry-picked photos of a lightweight version with cables much tighter than they actually get. Also, wear gloves when unpacking. I found several SHARP metal flashing scraps from when the holes were drilled, and two of the holes still had the flashing attached. That tells me there is little to no inspection of the product before its packaged or when assembles,,,, or the inspection is very lazy. Come to think of it, I originally gave it three stars, but after listing out all the flaws, I'm downgrading it to two.

Arrived and was missing pieces. In fact one of the two I received wasn’t properly constructed and I’m still currently unable to install it. I contacted customer service and have been ghosted for almost a week now. Do not recommend for that reason.
