I discovered the AC valve caps missing on my car when I went to recharge the system, something I hadn’t done before but the new California laws add $200 to the normal $80 recharge because the state wants the car tested for environmental concerns, of course, this is California. The $300 fee they wanted to recharge my AC prompted me to buy my own refrigerant and do the job myself. So, apparently the garage that recharged my system a few years back didn’t put the caps back on my AC, high and low lines, they do the same thing to your car tire’s valve caps, can’t seem to screw them back on. Anyway, these are very nice Air Conditioning Valve Caps for your high and low pressure lines that have a rubber seal inside to block any leaks. The caps are different size for the High and Low lines and have H and L embossed on the cap.
