About this item

  • 【40G Applications】Cat8 internet cable is up to 4 times faster than cat6a patch cables. Ethernet cable 1 ft support 40Gbps transfer speeds and up to 2000MHz bandwidth. Cat8 1ft ethernet cable is the ideal future proof and high performance solution for data, voice and audio/video signals with no lag. Backward compatible with Cat 7, Cat 6a, Cat 6 and Cat 5e cables.
  • 【Extremly Slim】Slim Cat8 short ethernet cable 1ft is half thinner than the regular Cat8 cable, making it the perfect solution for high density server rooms and data centers (switch to switch, switch to router, switch to server, switch to patch panel). It is also light, flexible and can be easily routed in small place with slim cat8 network cables.( unlike typical Cat8 cables that is difficult to run due to thick insulation).
  • 【Dual Shielding】Cat 8 patch cable is made of double shielding F/FTP (overall foil and Individually foil shielding pairs), which protects from EMI/RFI line noise to avoid data loss or hardware damage and help equipment perform better. Cat 8 cables is especially suitable for high line noise environments.
  • 【Fluke Test Pass】Cat8 ethernet cable is made of pure copper 30awg and pass Fluke DSX-8000 for project standard. Use patch cable cat 8 to upgrade network speed with confirdence for office network, residential network and home network project. Ethernet patch cables is in compliance with ANSI/TIA 568.2-D standards.
  • 【Upgrade and Clean Up Rack】Good size 1ft patch cable for clean wire management install. Short ethernet cable make your setup so much easier and cleaner with all same length and color. Cable patch cords is more reliable and secure than Cat6 cable network. Great for Tight Racks with very little space between the equipment. Meanwhile, CAT 8 rated cable are future forward compatible for future possible upgrade to 40G Speed.

【Extremly Thin】CAT8 patch cables is about half the diameter of a typical patch cable.Means three of them will be in the same space of a standard patch cable. It is much easier to route multiple connections in a smaller space with slim cat8 cable.

I just bought a patch panel and was going to crimp every patch cable. For me the price was well worth the saved time! I was done in minutes instead of 2+ hours (I'm not fast at crimping RJ45).My fear with the 12" version is they would be too stiff to rotate due to the short length. My 48 port switch has one row of jacks upright and the other row upside down. But I was able to plug them into either row without feeling like I was compromising the cable.I haven't bothered to do any appropriate speed tests because CAT8 far exceeds the speed of my 2.5 GbE network. They are at least as fast as my 250 Mbit ISP. The build quality seems great and they even look good.

Perfect cable. Have used a lot of cables and made several myself and found these to be solid with awesome connectors.

So far these patch cables seem great. Purchased these to replace some older self assembled patch cables. They look and feel high quality and all have tested functional. Also nice to have a consistent length rather than my poor job "eyeballing" lengths of my own.One improvement that could be made is to ensure the RJ45 connectors are aligned on each end. Some were 180 degrees opposed which is perfect while others were 45-90 degrees off requiring me to twist the cable a bit to line up with the patch panel ports. Not a huge deal but worth noting, especially for shorter length cables.

I will be adding more of these soon when I restack this panel. Improvement in progress. I wanted to add detail on these wires -- they are CAT8 F/FTP PIMF 25/40GBase-T 2000Mhz slim patch cables...F/FTP: FOILED WITH FOILED TWISTED PAIRSThis type of cable features an overall foil shield with individually foil tape shielded twisted pairs. These are similar to F/UTP cables, with the addition of a foil shield around each twisted pair. The cable construction is designed to provide the assembly with greater protection from crosstalk from adjacent pairs and other cables, RFI and EMI.PiMF is an abbreviation of the English 'Pair In Metal Foil'This CAT8 cable will reach 40G on these short runs and certainly can be used in that manner. No you won't be doing this at home in 2025. But they are inexpensive, they look great, they are very flexible, and they will have fewer errors than CAT6A because of their shielding overkill. In comparison, the 22 AWG CAT8 cable runs that I just ran in my house are huge, horrible to route, and are best terminated with a CAT8 field RJ45 connector into a 22AWG keystone jack, then patched with these. 5/5
