I just want a guitar mid-priced microphone that would plug into a small amp. Now that I've received it, I realize that when they say "compatible with X", they mean "only works with X". You have to have a wireless mic transmitter for this to work, and of course with that you need a receiver, and so all told you need to spend another few hundred dollars, at least, for a system this will work with.I could be wrong, but I'm not keen on spending more money on adapters not knowing if they'll work or not. Also, the guitar clamp is nice and light, and seems to work well, except that once you have it on your guitar, there's a few inches of it that stick out in the back. If you put it on the leg-side of your guitar, you'll get poked in the leg or groin, and if you put it on the top side you'll get poked in the chest. That leaves the bottom, which might be alright, but then the gooseneck isn't quite long enough to get up near the sound hole. That might not be a problem, but unfortunately I'll never know.

When I ordered this microphone I was skeptical about its quality. However, my doubts dissipated entirely when it arrived and I tested it out. The mic:1.- Has an excellent, high-quality construction2.- Has it own case3.- Comes with support for the instrument4.- brings a linear connector to XLR (150Homs)5.- Comes with a 1/2 3-way adapter for Dynamic connection *(600Homs)6.- Comes with several Tips which include adapters for cable extension.*Something I discovered is that it is compatible with the connections with the Audix Lavaliers microphones. My only small “con” is that the cable is a little...(just a little bit...!) thin, but to be honest, modern cables are not as thick as they used to be.In general, it is an excellent microphone for the price! It has a beautiful, rich, full-spectrum sound and I highly recommend it!

This guitar microphone sounds awesome, with no static or humming. It is simple to attach and I like the way it mounts securely. The arm is firm enough that it holds the mic is the set position without shifting .It is simple to hook up and use.The complete assembly has a good quality feel to it, a professional feel.Overall I am pleased and I would buy again.5 STARS

My wife has started singing lately and she's pretty good. I got her a vocal microphone set to further her singing efforts but then she also started playing acoustic guitar. She's not exactly Antonio Carlos Jobim but she's capable and getting better. I've also tried accompanying her on guitar a bit. My skills are meager but for her needs I guess I'm OK. Obviously, this newfound musical effort on our part required a guitar microphone so we ordered this one.Assuming you know at least a little about microphones, this is easy to set up and operate. You've got several options for connectivity with all of the necessary connectors included. Everything fits into a very nice carrying case so you can take your show on the road. On top of everything, it sounds really good. Even my substandard guitar playing sounds better through this microphone. Highly recommended!

The cable is super fine/thin. Not even a bit durable. Also you must have a power source for this. Phantom power alone did nothing. Then the tone is still wanting.
