This 3-zone water timer makes garden care so much easier. I really appreciate being able to set different schedules for each zone. You can run zones individually, in a cycle, or even manually if needed — great flexibility.Setup was pretty straightforward, and the unit feels solidly built. The large screen is easy to read, and I like the rain delay function to help avoid overwatering. I haven’t tested the battery life yet, but it’s running well so far.Only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that the hose threads feel a bit snug and took some careful tightening to avoid leaks. Also, while the interface is generally easy to use, it can take a few tries to remember which button does what.All in all, though, this is a really handy tool if you're managing multiple garden zones and want to automate your watering routine.

This little gadget took the "chore" out of watering my lawn. Easy to set up, and it does its thing like a responsible little robot. My plants are happier, and I'm not stuck holding a hose. Win-win!

This item comes with a complete instruction manual (English and Spanish only).All made of plastic requires 2 AAA batteries that aren’t included.What I like is that Teflon tape is included as well as a spare filter.I like that the battery compartment door is sealed to prevent water seeping through and reaching the batteries.Both manual or programmed options. Fully programmable (minutes and hours).I cannot quite test it out since it’s winter time here but it’s well made with a large enough screen to read but it doesn’t have a backlight screen.The plastic rivets seem quite solid.I find the rotating knob easy to use as opposed to other models having buttons to press.

It's early in the year for me to use it, but I wanted to test out how easy it was use and how it worked. I'm really looking forward to using this on my front lawn this summer so I can avoid having to run out in the middle of the night when I finally remember to turn off the sprinkler, lol! It was easy to install and set up with the instructions that came with it. It does require 2xAAA batteries so make sure you have some of those on hand when you install it. I like that the screen is easy to read but has a manual knob rather than buttons - makes me feel a bit better about it's construction when it rains (which is does a lot here in the PNW). Overall, I think this is a great product for folks that need to water regularly and want to manage their consumption so they don't waste water.

My other one stopped working after less than 48 hours & was difficult to setup with a maximum of 90sec watering time. I would have preferred the brass inlet valve version as the ABS plastic options never seem to last very long.However, I appreciate how easy this is to setup and the various options it provides for different situations. Time will tell if it lasts long enough to be a good buy - I’ll update this review if it fails.

The timer feels sturdy and has an easy to read display. Installation andsetting is straight forward, and the controls are easy to handle. Wateringworks according to the set program.The timer is battery powered (two AAA batteries), not sure what theexpected life time of those will be. Therefore, a solar-operated batterywould be an upgrade.
