This is perfect for retrofitting your existing r134a gauges for use with r1234yf. You’ll obviously need r1234yf fittings to connect your manifold to r1234yf fittings on the car, which I had bought previously. This can-tap has the proper LH threads which are standard on R1234yf cans, but it has RH output thread, unlike every R1234yf tap you’ll find at any auto parts store, which have LH output thread designed for a dedicated R1234yf manifold gauge set.

I had to purchase this as the one that came with the system I bought would not work properly. This worked on very well on R134 and R1234 cans. Very happy with it.

Terrible, leaked out of the tap head (even after tightening it), and thread was dodgy and required tap-and-die set to fix, still leaked meaning couldn't complete a job on A/C system without letting air in
