Did extensive research in looking for a shock for my 2016 Honda Fit this one had more than enough reviews and specifically had comments on an attaching them to the Honda Fit with ease.In particular wanted it from a us-based company such as lift supports.com.The installation sheet that came with them was a bit confusing it was far simpler attach and remove the old shocks then this instruction sheet mentioning clips and mounting brackets at the bottom of the page.I called the company and a shout out to Ash the representative I spoke with was very helpful and pleasant. Even had a Honda Civic she had installed shocks for with the rear trunk.Easy to remove with the instructions simple to put on one video I saw I took the suggestion and added some general grease lubricant to the ball joints.Would rate four and a half Stars a little bit off for the confusing instructions and the warranty although 5 years as you pay and ship at your cost any defective part after 180 days. Would have liked that to see a year warranty at no cost once you ship it and pay $14 for replacement almost might as well buy a new set!Definitely would buy from them again if my daughter's fit or my HRV had any shock issues.

These struts were an exact fit in my 2015 Honda Fit EX. The installation was very fast and easy! And these new struts have a nice damping action at the end of the opening stroke— the liftgate doesn’t shoot open!

Perfect fit - 2016 Honda Fit EX-L. They work, easy to install - lifting the spring clamp on the NEW struts is unnecessary - just lift band to pull old ones off - the new ones pop on (and lock) with little pressure. If you lift the clamps on the new ones you'll have to get out the pliers and put it back together, etc. Opens a little harder than new/OEM, IMO - but as of this date the average price of an OEM strut is $110.00 (vice $30 for 2). Got around 8 years of regular use from the factory struts (before the hatch started falling on my head)-if these fail abnormally I'll update. Shipping w/DHS-USPS a late disaster, as always.

These are a perfect fit to replace the original struts that gave out on me at 78k miles. I guess I got tired of having the hatch hit me on the head as I tried to load and unload. These easily snapped on, and I was able to remove the old ones and install these by myself in about 10-minutes. As suggested in the instructions, I kept the struts inside where it was warmer and waited until it was a less wintry day to do the install. For the removal, I used a multi-tool, (you need a narrow flathead screwdriver). I pried the old tabs with the screwdriver, but found that needle-nose pliers worked the best to fully remove the tab. The hatch has been stable and opens and closes with the speed and tension that I remember from when the Fit was brand new. I am happy with this purchase and have kept the seller's card to recommend them to friends and family for when their struts finally go. I will update my review if needed and if anything changes.
