These fit pretty well on my 2017 Santa Fe (XL 3-row) SUV. They did seem to be a little over pressured, as the hatch would snap open, instead of opening slow and in a controlled manner.I guess they wer over pressured, as the seal in the right one blew out in 7 months and my wife wasn't able to open the hatch. I also leaked oil all down the right side of my bumper. Definiteliy recommned buying the oem part.

At my Hyundai dealership these would have cost $136 each, not installed. I payed $52 for both on Amazon, and very easy to install, and they work great!!

I purchased a pair of the hatch lift struts to fit my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe XL (3 row seats). Installation was a snap (quite literally, as these pop on and off a metal ball joint using a screwdriver blade). A one page instruction sheet provides clear guidance on what to watch out for during installation. The struts fit and work perfectly, although it remains to be seen how they last over the long term.Note that while the OEM parts are left and right handed, these ones are universal and require the proper alignment of the mounting sockets as explained in the installation sheet.

These fit my 2017 Santa Fe XL perfectly. Followed the instructions, and replaced the old ones in less than 10 minutes. They seem to have a bit more pressure than the old ones before they died, but that’s probably because I got used to the weaker strength as the old ones failed. I definitely recommend these.

One of the original lift supports rusted, started leaking, and failed. Replaced both of them, 10-minute job. All you need is a flat-head screwdriver. Tailgate is as good as new now!

Easy installation, perfect fit for my 2017 Hyundai SantaFe SE 2017 7th seat.Probably easier to install with some extra pair of hands but still doable solo.

Did not fit my 2017 Hyundai Santafe Limited Ultimate (w/ 3rd row). I contacted seller through their main website and they sent out the correct socket as the ones originally on the lift supports were too small. I ended up needing 13mm ball sockets sku: RD325M6X10Z-W. I asked nicely and their customer service rep sent me four screw on replacement sockets super fast and on the house ; ) I love this company, definitely recommend and will buy from again if I ever need to.

My wife's 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe (with only 10k miles) had the back automatic lift-gate die on us. We took it to the dealership and it was out of warranty by 1 month. Hyundai would not agree to honor it even though it was like brand new with so few miles on it. The new automatic lift struts were going to cost over $1,000. I decided to try just making it a good ole' fashioned manual lift gate. I ordered these, and they were the correct length (which I measured for), BUT they were the wrong size diameter for the sockets on the ends that attach to the ball joints on the Santa Fe. These were 11mm and I needed 13 mm sockets to fit. I made the mistake, but contacted this company (who are AWESOME) to see what they could do to assist. They shipped me 4 new end pieces (the 13mm sockets) for FREE. I took off the old ends , put on the 13mm ends and in 5 minutes had both struts installed and they work perfectly!!!
