Unless you want to risk snapping the microphone holding wire, you cannot bend it to suit the shape of your face or personal preference for positioning. Also, the mic wire is not extendable, further restricting personal flexibility. But for the price, you cannot expect everything. It seems to be sensitive enough and the sound coming through is clear and without interference (I have connected it directly to an amplifier with a $30 adaptor providing the necessary reduction in phantom power.)

Do buy the upgraded version for an extra $25 it's not worth it. The headset is very cheap & flimsy & the adapter isn't even gold plated. You can buy a much better adapter for $5.99 at the source or other places.

The headset looks well made with quality parts. I had to return the unit I received because it didn't have the plugin style depicted in the photo. So no worky. Besides the good quality, Amazon's return process makes it realy hard not to do business with them. So thanks Amazon. Be assured, I will try again.

I am using this product for a purpose it wasn't designed for, as a stand-alone mic plugging into a mixer via an XLR plug. This requires me to design, construct and package a separate power supply unit, which is now about #15 on my projects list! If that interface works as hoped, I'll re-post!One mystery: how is it supposed to be worn? The website shows ambiguous illustrations - should the mic boom come from ear or mouth-level. Not at all clear.

I ordered 2 sets. 1 set did not have the plastic cover around 1 piece that goes over the ear. The other set is complete.

Absolutely wonderful . if you use this mike you nee phantom power ) I installed the foam mike covers and everything came out crystal clear. I would gladly purchase another one in the future. Wonderful product. I am a professional musician and find the dainty thin wire is almost impossible to detect., and extremely comfortable . John Price
