We packed this grip full of features, like an ultra tacky compound and ergonomic pattern to support your palms and help relieve any fatigue caused by trail chatter and long days in the saddle. The Loam Grip features two contrasting patterns and these dueling motifs play an important ergonomic role. Thin strips run horizontally across the grip’s surface for enhanced traction and supple feel, while the thicker mountain pattern helps support the pad of your hand. Beefing up this outer zone with a heartier design combats compound deterioration, ensures the grip is absorbing more vibration and provides needed structure to support the additional body weight pressing down on this area. The Loam Grip was purpose built for Enduro/Trail riding, and with that in mind picking the compound was extremely important. We needed to identify a blend that was soft enough to absorb vibration, yet firm enough to keep its shape under pressure. We call this the “happy camper” blend, because it strikes a balance between an ultra soft material that wears too quickly and a harder compound that provides no tactile benefits.

These grips are amazing and offering a girthing option is a game changer. I have in the pas almost exclusively run odi lock on grips in one fashion or another but after seeing the extra large offering from PNW I knew I had to make a change. The grips seem to be made of good quality and after a few rides haven’t shown any signs of degradation. Ultimately I would recommend the PnW line of components to any one looking to add some snazz to their bike!

I've had the pmw loam grip before and loved them, but this is the first xl I've used. I'm after my first ride I've noticed significantly reduced arm pump from not needing to squeeze my hands as tight on the bars thanks to the larger diameter.

I really like the flange just behind the grip lock. It let's me know without looking where my hands are at on the grips. Nice rubbery soft material. I have size large hands and the xl grip fits well. My only concern is the grip ends in a crash. So far no issues and it's been tested. These Re good grips for the $. I had 134mm deity supra cush which I really liked except they have no beginning grip flange which at times my hands could be off the grip alittle. I'm funny about certain items I use and grips are one of them. I'd buy these again. Good buy

I have them on my full sus and they’re nice, I prefer the ergon that I have mounted on my hardtail though…
