What can I say, the Philips 578 Mini Light Bulb (2-pack) works wonderfully in our 03 Taurus SES. Probably been 10 years since the dome light was changed... if this bulb lasts half as long I'll still be happy. The extra bulb has a higher chance of getting broken or lost before it ever gets to shine if his sibling performs up to the standard of the previous bulb.

Previous idiot owner put red LED dome bulbs in my Challenger, these were an exact replacement, and now I dont look like a red light district eveytime I open the door!

The installation is straight forward and the results incredible. So much brighter then the original, Also ordering it online saved a ton of money because at a local supercenter it was 5x the price I paid for it.
