Note: I rarely ever review any product, but this purchase is a must to review.Mishimoto is a renowned brand known for its high-quality parts. While reading reviews with pictures of the transmission cooler fins damaged during shipping, I anticipated some minor damage as the fins are very fragile. However, to my surprise, the part arrived in pristine condition, with no signs of damage at all. Mishimoto truly outdid themselves in packaging the product. My 2009 GMC Sierra used to idle at 144 degrees. Thanks to this transmission cooler, it now idles at a much cooler 118 degrees. Iโ€™ll update this review sometime later this week as I just had it installed today. Also, another review next month when I embark on a cross-country trailer tow. So far, this direct bolt-on plug-n-play transmission cooler has proven to be worth every penny.05/15/2025Update: I towed a 5,550 lbs total weight trailer from California to Louisiana and the max temperature my transmission reached was 175 degrees. Mind you the transmission went through a lot of strain going uphill and downhill through this cross country trip, while with the temperature outside being in the 90s. Transmission temperature was in low 140s after I passed the mountains. This transmission cooler was worth every penny and I am very happy with the purchase. This Mishimoto transmission cooler is very high quality and looks so damn good. Thank you Mishimoto for existing!

Easiest trans cooler upgrade I have ever done. This went onto a 8.1/4l85e/10.5 Yukon XL in about 15 minutes total. It didn't come with instructions, but youtube was helpful. The stock cooler lines clipped right in, as did the temp sensor. No modifications were needed, as this fit great. A little top up on the fluid, and I'm now seriously 60 degrees cooler in town than the stock cooler. I will return to this review if needed, but so far, this doesn't leak, looks great, and definitely reduced the transmission temperature.

2000 chevy silverado, So I have a stage 3 trans with a 3000 stall converter because I have a big cam in a 5.3 ls. I went with a aftermarket cooler to get temps down and a fan also but trans was still getting to 200 205 degrees... So I got the mishimoto cooler man let me tell you temps are down to 165 degrees and that was me beating on it doing 0 to 100 pulls for an hour or so worth every penny...The best thing about it was it bolted right up in 30 mins...Thanks mishimoto..๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
