Easy to feed into my shredder. Much easier than using any type of oils. Make sure to use the little bag supplied to prevent your shredded papers from getting any liquid on them. Helped my shredder run more quietly and a little bit faster that I have noticed so far. I use it every couple weeks. It has made a difference for me.

Seems to be working. The packet-type page thingies run through the shredder smoothly with no jamming or hesitation. I've also noticed my shredder seems to be struggling less (making a bit less noise) when it gets frequent use so I assume that's a good thing. I usually run two of the lubricated pages through the machine one right after the other for maximum effect.And, because of how easy they are to use my shredder gets lubricated on a more regular basis. It sure beats the mess of oiling by hand.

When I received these after such a long wait, I used one immediately on our aging shredder. It went through and came out. Nothing seemed different when I used the shredder the next time. The action is so subtle, I’m not sure if I did anything.Later when I was cleaning up the area I opened the box in, I found a hand written note on the back side of a UPS label, the part that is left after you peel and stick. I was nervous to read it, not knowing what I’d read. It looked like it was handwritten by perhaps a worker. It ended up being a thank you letter. A sweet gesture, and an environmental friendly move, but I’d rather not get a note than to see a “letter” written on the back of a label like that.In the end, I just bought another shredder. I’m not sure if I’ll use the rest of the sheets or not. I won’t buy these or any other lubricant sheets in the future either.

These lubricant sheets are an ingenious solution to oiling the cutting teeth on my shredder. They are thick-ish sheets that measure about 8 1/2" x 6", and have shredder oil sandwiched (sealed) in the page. Now, it has a bit of a "frame" around the edges of about 1/2", and with the rest of the page embedded with lubricant. Run through my personal size shredder in a landscape orientation it fits the opening perfectly from side to side. I just put it in and run it through the shredder and I'm all lubed up.This offers a much cleaner solution to me for lubricating my shredder's teeth. The instructions for lubricating my machine call for pouring vegetable oil on a piece of printer paper, and then running that through the machine, rather than buying a bottle of shredder oil and squirting it in the machine; sort of the poor man's way of completing that task. The problem is, it can be really messy - vegetable oil doesn't really like to impregnate itself into the paper, so it tends to run off the edges if I'm not careful. These lubricant sheets offer me a way to do the same thing, but without any mess.It comes with a plastic garbage bag to capture the shredded lubricant page; that prevents spoiling shredded paper with lubricating oil in the event you want to recycle the paper or use it as mulch for the garden, etc. Certainly a nice touch.With a box of 24 pages, if I use 1 per month I am set for two years. Or one year if I run two per month through the machine. At less than $15 that's a nice insurance policy for my $100+ shredder. Great idea and product.
