The stand that came with my light ring/PC camera holder was really bulky. So when I saw this fairly sleek arm that attaches to my desk (I actually mounted it to my computer stand to get a good position). The arm articulates well and locks in place once tightened. I've had it up since I got it and haven't had to tighten anything.

I have a desktop tripod I've used for years to mount my phone to make video recordings. I've never had or thought of trying a camera mount with arm and joints. I have a microphone mount with adjustable arm but never made the mental connection I could have a camera mount arm as well.I have to say I am blown away by this adjustable camera mount arm and joints. The flexibility of this camera mount arm and joints is unbelievable. It's way easier and more efficient than using a desktop tripod which takes up valuable desk surface space. I used to constantly have to adjust move and remove the desktop tripod depending on what I was doing at the desk. Not anymore!This camera mount with adjustable arms is easy to assemble and use right out of the box. However, my biggest concern is always the ball joint. You never know if they will hold their position. In my case, I am using a phone as my camera. My phone is not that bulky or heavy and works great with my phone.I love this camera mount with adjustable arm and joints. It is a keeper. I've stopped using the desktop tripod on my main recording desk.

I was looking for a sturdy mount for a zoom microscope cam for soldering electronics and this mount works perfectly. I can mount it on the back of my table and it reaches over to my work piece with plenty of height and adjustability. The pivots adjust and lock in place positively with cam notches, so no sliping out of adjustment. The table clamp is strong with rubber pads to hold tight and and not scratch tables. It has a 1/4" standard thread for most cameras and accessories. I only took a star off because the tube locking collet at the base is plastic and so are the knobs. If you're not careful or if you're constantly moving it around these might wear or break but I don't think I'll have a problem and it's only a minor critique. Solid mount. I like it👍
